DEFINITION OF KINDS OF POINT OF VIEW
Point of view refers to the "person" from whose point information is delivered. In first person point of view, the writer is part of the action of the story and includes his/her own perspective. In second person point of view, the writer addresses readers directly, and assumes to know something about them. In third person objective point of view, the writer focuses on an external subject, and the writer's viewpoint is never stated. The writer is only an observer. In third person omniscient, the writer knows everything about all the characters, and offers all viewpoints. A limited omniscient point of view is one in which the writer is limited to the viewpoints of only one character.
